Atlanta Braves hosts a Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Night

On May 6th, our Chairman Tommy Clack has arranged with the Atlanta Braves a special night for Vietnam Veterans, supports and families. A night of honor, a night of recognition, a night of remembrance.  This event is the kickoff of the 40th Anniversary Observance/End of the Vietnam War program behind held at the Walk of Heroes in Conyers.

Group tickets have been arranged for just $12.00 a seat and parking for $10.00. Seats are located in the outfield and are normally priced at $24.00 per seat. Parking  day of game is $15.00.

The Atlanta Braves offers wheel chair assistance at no charge. This is a superb service where they will pick you up at your vehicle and drive you to the gate. At the gate, you can get assistance to get you out to your seat, or for the parade. Do not hesitate to take advantage of this service. It is included in the price of your ticket! Once you park, contact the parking attendant who parks you and he/she will arrange your ride!

Join us for a parade where our veterans and families will have the opportunity t walk around the warning track during our pre-game festivities in front of the home crowd. Come be a part of our parade! Note: Parade will begin around 6 pm. We are asking all our veterans, families and supporters to be in the seating area around by 5:30 to facilitate moving the group to the ramp to head out on the field. Wheel chair access is available.

At 7 pm there will be an on field ceremony to honor the Vietnam Era veterans and their families and to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the End of the Vietnam War.

This is not a fundraising event. All funds are sent directly to the Atlanta Braves and are the actual costs for events.
